After the Winnemucca Bank robbery in September 1902, an ****ociate and part-time employer of Tom Horn's, Col. Bell of Laramie, recommended him to the bank's cashier and part owner, George Nixon.
Bell and Nixon were partners in a ranching business west of Laramie. Horn went to Winnemucca and spent several days with Nixon discussing the matter.
