How do all,
I just wanted to say briefly, that I have just finished the book Al Seiber
Chief of Scouts by Dan Thrapp. I enjoyed . It didn't seem to have alot to say about old Tom. Author seemed reluctant to mention he { Tom } was later made Chief of Scouts. He didn't mention Tom towards the end of the book when the author was speaking of all the old timers that were with Al in the old days. Nonetheless just wondering if anyone out there especially Chip might know if the monument to Al is still standing. The one fashioned out of native stone, raised on the spot where Al met his end?
Take care all, Happy Trails,

I don't know anything about the monument. Perhaps Dean Thrapp did not mention much about Horn because he did not like him.

At the end of Tom Horn's autobiography there is a letter from Sieber in which he supported Tom and could not believe he killed the kid.
